BLUE SEED AND BLUE SEED 2

Blue Seed and Blue Seed are Japanese anime series based on the manga works of Yuzo Takada.  It tells the story of Momiji Fujimiya, a young girl living in Izumo who is thrown into a battle with an ancient race of beings known as the Aragami.  Along the way she discovers that she is the daughter of the Kushinada family, and the only one capable of defeating the Aragami by offering herself as a sacrifice.  Blue Seed is a mixture of Japanese mythology, science fiction, horror, comedy and romance.  It also happens to be one of my favorite animes.

There are twenty six episodes in the series BLUE SEED and only three episodes in the OVA BLUE SEED 2.  BLUE SEED is currently out for distribution here in the US by AD Vision.  The OVA's, however have yet to be licensed and are therefore not fully translated   = [   I have seen them all; however, since I don't understand Japanese, the finer points of the plotline to the OVA are lost to me... but it's still fun to watch.

Beyond the Blue is dedicated to Momiji,  her friends and her co-workers.  I hope you enjoy it.
